Striding by Catherine Woods

“Striding” is a public art display created by artist Catherine Woods for the Core Residencies.  This beautiful decorative glass and stainless-steel sculpture features abstract artwork that was inspired by photographs of the Silver Springs, Maryland area. Woods calls it “a sculpture for the site, of the site, inspired by the site.” As the sun moves throughout the day, it changes details of the art, ensuring a new experience for the viewer every time.
