General Glass Becomes AIA Provider and Offers New Architectural Decorative Glass Course

Secaucus, NJ, February 13, 2012: GGI a leading supplier of architectural glass products has recently become an approved AIA CES provider by the American Institute of Architects and is proud to announce its first course titled: “Designing with Architectural Decorative Glass”. The new course provides architects one CES-HSW/SD LearningUnit.

The one-hour course is free and will be presented to architects in a “Lunch & Learn” format. The course examines the use of architectural decorative glass in both interior and exterior applications, addressing how the performance, safety and sustainable design can be incorporated into the design of commercial applications.

Learning objectives for the course include:

  • Understand the various types and applications of decorative glass
  • Understand the performance capabilities of decorative glass
  • Understand how to evaluate and specify decorative glass
  • Understand how decorative glass contributes to sustainability design
