Emory Musculoskeletal Institute
The Emory Musculoskeletal Institute is a 190,000 SF newly constructed medical facility designed to provide the ultimate experience in healthcare, research and education. The themed Alice® glass wall cladding helps create a dramatic wayfinding experience for patients as soon as the elevator doors open on each floor. GGI also furnished the laminated glass partitions in the patient check-in area with the skeletal artwork design and blue fade for privacy.

Custom photography of human cells applied to low-iron glass using Alice® direct-to-glass printing with faux solid color frame, a large format image in background, and then back-painted for dramatic wayfinding use of glass wall cladding.

The glass wall cladding also serves as an easy to clean and maintain surface material ideal for wellness minded facilities and high-traffic areas.
Patient Registration Lobby: Glass partitions of 12 mm low-iron laminated glass configured with .060 PVB interlayer for sound control and safety, with custom Alice® direct-to-glass printing skeletal image on the #2 surface and blue fade on the #3 surface to create privacy.

The decorative glass partitions are 9/16" OA laminated glass with the Alice® direct-to-glass printed artwork. This multifunctional glass configuration serves to reduce sound transmitted while also providing physical and visual separation for the patients checking into the facility. The upper area of each panel is ultra-clear low iron glass with a continuation of the skeletal design allowing plenty of light to be shared between each space.
