Il Verde Restaurant Tropicana Casino and Resort
The IL Verde Restaurant at the Tropicana Casino and Resort was a renovation project designed by SOSH Architects. Graphic Encounter Fine Art was chosen to take on the challenge of creating seven unique large format works of art that would become the focal point of the restaurant. The original artwork makes a stunning impression with multi-layers and backlighting of the Alice® custom glass work by GGI.
GEFA used a mix of vibrant colors and intense designs that were applied to the #2 and #4 surfaces of the ultra-transparent, 1/2" low-iron tempered and laminated glass to achieve the truest color and give depth to the design.
The Alice direct-to-glass printing process yields high-resolution imaging, varying levels of opacity, and the ceramic frit paint that is fused into the glass upon tempering ensures lasting color and quality.
